Louis Katz concentrates his practice in Estate Planning and Probate as well as Real Estate Law. Louis excels in working with individuals as they make important decisions concerning their health care, property, and dependents. He has helped hundreds of families plan their estates with an emphasis on tax and probate avoidance, while maintaining family harmony. Louis also has experience in succession planning, pet trusts, family foundations, and legacy bequests.
Civic Involvement
Louis Katz is actively involved in the management of his home Village of Amberley. He served on the Amberley Village Council as well as its’ Magistrate. He is also a founding Board Member of the Amberley Green Preservation Society. He is a former Board Member of the Hillel Foundation and past President of the Cincinnati Chapter of the Magen David Adom (Israel’s Red Cross Service). He is also a former Cemetery Board Member. Louis is also a member of Big Brother/Big Sister Cincinnati and was an active Big Brother to three Little Brothers. He was the attorney for Cincinnati Ski Club. In memory of his parents, Louis established the “Adele and Alfred Katz Constitution Day Endowment” at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, which brings in a speaker of national recognition to the Law School for Constitution Day every September 17th. Louis has been recognized in his community of Amberley Village with a Certificate of Excellence and the community celebrated July 9th as “Louis H. Katz Day”.
