Edward (Pete) P. Akin, Esq., joined Wood + Lamping in February 2025. He previously practiced for over 20 years, mostly as a partner, at a boutique law firm focused on serving builders, developers and real estate related matters.
Pete is a litigator. Clients include homeowner associations, builders in construction-related disputes and civil ligation in a wide range of cases, including labor and employment disputes, intellectual property and occasionally personal injury.
Pete was born in Houston, Texas and has practiced law since 2001. He is admitted to practice in Ohio and Kentucky, and various federal district courts in Ohio and Kentucky.
Pete has handled cases in Ohio and Kentucky Courts, State and Federal, as well as Federal Courts in Michigan and Indiana on a pro hac vice basis. See below for a sampling of results.
Pete and his wife, Molly, have two grown daughters and enjoy training and spending time with their German Shepherds, and running a small-scale beef cattle farm.
