We are proud to announce that our own Dale A. Stalf, past head of the firm’s Litigation practice area, has been named the “Lawyer of the Year” for Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs in Cincinnati in the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America®. Dale received this honor because he received the highest overall peer feedback in this specific practice area in Cincinnati from his fellow lawyers in this area.
After receiving his law degree from the University of Cincinnati, Dale served in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps as a military prosecutor, and finally as an attorney-advisor in the Office of the General Counsel to the Secretary of Defense at The Pentagon where he worked with U. S. Attorney Offices defending the Department of Defense (DoD) and senior DoD officials in civil litigation.
After Dale retired from the Army in 1988, he was a partner in two other law firms and primarily focused his practice on commercial litigation. In both firms he was regularly retained by insurance companies to defend their insureds in personal injury litigation, and he also then began to represent individuals who were seriously injured in accidents. Since joining Wood + Lamping, Dale has regularly represented injured friends and family members of the firm’s clients and also of colleagues who have referred their clients to him for his assistance.
As evidenced by this award, Dale has built an incredible reputation in the Greater Cincinnati legal community for representing plaintiffs in this area. And he has been an incredible member of the W+L team, not only in this area, but also in the areas of business and construction litigation.
Congratulations Dale!
