Mark S. Reckman to Speak at Sterling Education Services’ Elder Law Seminar

Mark S. Reckman will be speaking at Sterling Education Services’ 4th Annual seminar entitled, “Elder Law: Legal, Financial, and Health Care Issues.”  Sterling Education Services’ elder law seminar will focus on creating effective strategies to make sure your clients are cared for and their wishes carried out. Some topics on the agenda include ethical concerns in elder law, financial and health care issues when planning for incapacity, guardianships and conservatorships, and financing long-term care. The seminar will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at the Eastgate Holiday Inn. Mark Reckman practices in the firm’s probate and estate planning practice.  His clientele spans Medicaid, estate planning, probate, real estate and small business. In Mark’s Medicaid practice, he counsels families facing dementia, disability and long-term health care costs. He writes and lectures extensively on this unique area. Mark is a past Chairman of the Cincinnati Bar Association Committee for Legal Problems of the Elderly. He has lectured at the Advanced Estate Planning Seminar of the Cincinnati Bar Association and at two annual conventions of the Ohio Bar Association. He has also lectured at the University of Cincinnati, Chase Law School and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
