Michelle’s practice focuses on Medicaid and estate planning and probate administration. Michelle relishes the challenge of tailoring each estate plan to her client and their goals. Her work includes drafting special needs trusts for the benefit of disabled beneficiaries and guiding her clients through the complex rules for Medicaid coverage of nursing home care. After more than two years of specialized study, at the end of 2022, Michelle expects to earn an LL.M. in Estate Planning and Elder Law from the Western New England School of Law.
A born-and-raised Cincinnati native, Michelle graduated from Walnut Hills High School and then received a B.A. in English, with honors, from the University of Cincinnati. She received her law degree from American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington, DC. She worked for many years as Counsel for Government Affairs in the Washington Office of Consumers Union, publisher of Consumer Reports magazine.
Michelle enjoys the performing arts and regularly patronizes Cincinnati’s lively theatre and music scene.
