Joshua R. Langdon

Josh Langdon joined Wood & Lamping in 2016 after being an associate attorney for Scott E. Knox for several years. He has extensive experience in representing lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) clients throughout Ohio and Kentucky in a variety of areas. His practice focuses on probate law and estate planning, family law and employment law. Josh also serves children as a Guardian ad Litem in custody cases in Domestic Relations and Juvenile court, as well as in Probate Court cases.

Josh is now actively involved with the Cincinnati Bar Association, serving as the Chair for the LGBT Interests Committee. He is also the Chair of the Ohio State Bar Association Committee formed with the sole task of revising the Ohio statutory code post-Obergefell. Josh is involved in the community as a member of the Board of Directors of CASA for Kids of Kenton and Campbell County, Inc., and a member of the Board of Trustees of Pro Seniors, Inc. Recently, Josh was appointed to a 3-year-term on the Ohio State Bar Association Council on Diversity Initiatives. He also presented at the National LGBT Bar Conference in San Francisco, CA, where he sat on a rock-star panel and discussed LGBTQ Rights in the Heartland.

Josh received his Bachelor of Arts from the College of Charleston and his Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. He was Treasurer of the South Carolina College Republicans and worked for the Human Rights Campaign Foundation in Washington, D.C. prior to entering law school. While at UC, Josh was President of Out & Allies, the LGBT student group, and a member of the Moot Court Honor Board.

Josh lives in Over-the-Rhine with his husband Nick and their two Labrador Retrievers, Charlie and Roxie.
